You panic and rush and it gets you all messed up. Take your time, read before you click and let the computer guide you.
I am glad that you have a computer at home. Spending more time at home working on a computer will help you become more and more comfortable (and proficient) with computers and do much more than we can do here.
Learning anything new is about effort and time. If you don't put in the effort or time, you won't get results.
Take your time and don't just learn keystrokes and clicks, but truly UNDERSTAND what you are doing, why you are doing it and how to do it again. Finishing assignments is not success until you can do it again on your own. When you get home, work on your assignments again to really reinforce what you are doing and develop a true understanding of computers.
